We're looking for a person (or two) to lead the gardening committee for the 2018 planting season. The Gardening Committee Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing the edible plants in the garden and the dozen or so beds they live in, with the help of other members and volunteers. The Coordinator also:

• Determines what will be planted and maps out the beds accordingly;
• Acquires seeds and bulbs from donating organizations like Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Hudson Harvest; 
• Regularly schedules and attends volunteer days to prepare beds for planting, plant, weed, prune and harvest;
• Communicates what is ready to be harvested;
• Prepares soil for next winter;
• Provides update at member meetings.
