GARDENing
The Gardening committee includes the following subgroups: Gardening & Flower, Maintenance and Watering. Gardening & Flower handles the day to day plans around seed germination, planting, garden planning, weeding and harvesting and is lead by a small team of regular gardeners. Maintenance, which includes large work projects is scheduled by Lory Henning. Watering is scheduled by Bayla Gottesman and Sam Allen.

GARDENing and Watering Work
Work sessions are typically held either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
Watering sessions are held every other day.

Compost
The Compost Project is overseen by Zhenia Nagorny and Tim Nottage and is in charge of processing hundreds of pounds of food scraps that are dropped off by community members during open hours, curing and allocating the finished compost within the garden as well as the community.

UProoting Racism Task Force
The URTF is made up of community and garden members who are committed to educating each other, connecting with the broader community and working to disrupt racism in the garden. Meetings are open to all community members (membership not required) and are held, virtually, once a month.

Meetings are held, virtually, once a month and are open to all community members.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Community Outreach committee includes the following subgroups: our new Fresh Food Box program (led by Arlene Roberts and Bayla Gottesman), Communication Committee (led by Zhenia Nagorny, Lory Henning, Karen Freer and a number of dedicated volunteers) and handles maintaining our web site and social media channels, and External Communications (handled by Nancy Hoch) which oversees the external communication between our community and other gardens, organizations and politicians.
If you’d like to join the Community Outreach committee, please specify which subgroup you are interested in most when joining. Communication committee meets virtually approximately every two weeks.
Meetings
Fresh Food Box meets at the garden every Saturday morning 10am-12pm. Communication Committee meets virtually every 2 weeks.
Finance
The Finance committee is overseen by our treasurer, Bayla Gottesman. Broad strokes budgeting and financial planning are normally handled by the group at general garden meetings, but volunteers who can help with fundraising are very welcome to join the Finance committee.
