Garden & Flower Committee Harvest Workday

Garden & Flower Committee Harvest Workday

Come to our harvest workday to take home some awesome veggies--peppers, tomatoes, basil, and swiss chard, to name a few--and to learn proper harvesting techniques so that you will better know how to keep our plants, especially the leafy greens, producing all season long.

Nancy gardening.jpg

In our bylaws we state that anyone can harvest from the garden, even if they haven't helped to grow the crops, as long as they take only what they need for their personal consumption. That way, there will be something left for the next person.
